We‘re sad to announce that we’ve made the hard decision to temporarily close our Bolton cinema until further notice.
Despite our best efforts to keep all of our sites open, the recent delays of film releases by the US studios and the lack of ongoing support for cinemas by government, means that we are now in a position where this is no longer possible.
With regret, we are announcing that with immediate effect, our site at Bolton will temporarily close. We are hugely grateful for the support of our team, guests and loyal Infinity members, who adapted to the changing rules with generosity of spirit and showed that cinema was still to be enjoyed. For Infinity members, the scheme is suspended along with all direct debits until further notice.
We truly believe in the big screen experience and we look forward to welcoming you back as soon as conditions allow. In the meantime, we realise this is a tough time for our country and our thoughts are with everyone affected by this, including our team members, those in other cinema businesses and in other sectors.

When will you reopen?
We don‘t currently have a set date, but we‘ll be keeping a keen eye on the upcoming film slate and will reopen when the film studios start releasing their major films. We‘ll also be following any government advice as the health of our teams and guests remains our main priority.
When are you closing?
We‘ll be closed from and including Tuesday 13 October.
How will we know when you’re reopening?
We‘ll be keeping our website updated, posting on our social media feeds, and emailing all our members when we have plans to reopen. Don‘t worry, we‘ll be making a fuss!
I have booked tickets. What happens now?
All guests with bookings will be contacted on Tuesday 13 October and refund automatically processed within 14 days. If you haven‘t received an email by then please check your spam and junk folders before emailing email@example.com.
I am an Infinity member. What will happen to my membership?
We‘ll be freezing monthly payments and contacting you when we reopen to restart your membership and reinstate your payments. We‘ll also be pausing annual memberships and adding the time we were closed on to the end of your contract. We‘ll also be contacting all our members by end of play Tuesday 13 October, to explain this further. I have a voucher/ gift card/ complimentary tickets that expire soon. What happens now?
As we did during our lockdown closure, we‘ll extend your voucher/ gift card/ complimentary tickets for the period we are closed so you can use them when we reopen.
